Orest Kote - Assistant Instructor MMA
Orest began his martial art journey during his teen years by beginning his Taekwondo training at age 13.

Orest have competed in many Taekwondo tournaments and won Gold metals.  In 2005, Orest became official 1st Dan black belt in Taekwondo.  He continued pursuing his Taekwondo training for two more years toward his 2nd Dan black belt. In 2007 after hard work in training, Orest earned his 2nd Dan black belt in Taekwondo and stopped training Taekwondo.
 
 
On August 2008, Orest began Muay Thai training with Master Cooper at the Civic League in Framingham during pre-opening of the Cooper's N.E. Martial Arts school.
In 2009 when Cooper's N.E. Martial Art school relocated and officially opened in Marlborough, where Orest began his MMA training which included Muay Thai, Ground and Pound Valetudo, combat Judo, Jujitsu, Wrestling and Sambo. 
Orest sometimes leads the MMA class and tries to help those in need of additional assistance.  With Orest's Taekwondo background, he has a very powerful kicks that can break people's ribs.  The combination of his strength, speed and accuracy is what make Orest an excellent stand up martial artist.
