Cardio Kickboxing

Our Cardio Kickboxing class is an excellent way to burn calories, get fit, loose weight and release stress in a positive way.  You will learn basic kicking and punching techniques along with proper blocking techniques. 
In between working our techniques against a heavy Muay Thai bag or a Wavemaster bag we work the core, as well as the upper body to get an overall body workout while learning some self defnse techniques. 
 
This is a great class for anyone whether you have martial art background or not.  This is a high energy, high intensity fun class with excellent upbeat music that will get you motivated and can burn up to 800-1000 calories depending on how much you put into your workout.  All you need to do is show up.

There are many benefits of incorporating Cardio Kickboxing into your lifestyle.  For starters, it is an excellent way to burn calories.  With all the modern conveniences people are less active these days and many of us sit all day long in front of a computer or we can get into our cars and drive to where we need to go without having to travel by foot, and when we are hungry, we can simply go to the store or restaurant of choice to get food and no longer have to run around hunting our food or take the time to grow them. 
 
While this might be convenient we also pay a huge price on the kind of foods we put in our mouths as most of them are processed and lack nutrients and has made us Americans less active and causing weight gain.

Gyms and fitness club is great for those who are highly motivated but for majority of the population, motivation or lack of is a huge factor that makes us less active. 



  


Our Kickboxing class is an excellent solution to this as all you need to do is show up!!  You'll be motivated just by the fact that there are other's doing the same technique as you with up beat music and simple basic drills against a bag, it truly is a great way to burn calories.  So, if you lack motivation or find walking or running on the treadmill too boring, just bring a towel and a bottle of water!
