Carter "Moose" Armitage - August 31, 2010
My name is Carter and I have been a student at Cooper's
New England Martial Arts for 2 months.
I have known Master Cooper for
about a year! I was introduced to him and his wife Instructor Yuli by
my girlfriend Liz who is also a student in the Taekwondo class.
Master Cooper and I talked about the Martial Arts and I
told him I had a Dan ranking in Kempo Jujitsu Karate. Master Cooper
invited me to come to his Dojang and try an MMA class. I said "Yes"
and I thought to myself this is going to be a cakewalk after all I am a
blackbelt!

Wow
was I wrong, I hadn't a clue. I left his facility dripping wet with
sweat and exhausted.
In my mind, I felt like a child learning to walk
again and I am happy that Master Cooper is there to teach. He is so
passionate "explosive" in the way he teaches. The students at the
school are great people from all walks of life, all different.
I am glad I have found my way to Cooper's N.E.M.A and I hope you may find your way there too.
